Our Story

In 2016, God laid it on our hearts to resign our job, sell our home, and move to a temporary location as we launched out following His will. We experienced many ups and downs as we walked “in faith” evangelizing and doing God’s work.

In 2018, we felt God calling us to Minneapolis and launched out on a fund-development campaign in January 2020. In April of 2021, we moved on location to begin planting a new church called Promise Church.

Join us in our mission to plant a church in Minneapolis. Be a part of our story!

Our Mission

The Greater Minneapolis metropolitan area is ranked as the sixteenth largest city and is a beautiful area with over 3.5 million people in the region. It is an area where 23% of the residents say they have no religious affiliation—Close to 1 million people!

The Tapias have a vision to plant a disciple-making Apostolic church that reaches into the greater Minneapolis metropolitan area. It is their mission to reach the lost, disciple new believers, and train leaders for ministry.
